St Nicholas CE Infants' School and Fir Tree Junior School have a long history of providing excellent education in the town. From September 2026, both will undergo a change of phase to become all-through primary schools, bringing them in line with other Oxfordshire schools. Both will provide high-quality education for children aged 3-11, with nursery provision at each school to ensure children get off to the best start.

A public consultation period is now open and will run to 11 October 2024.

ODST and OCC are committed to ensuring that the next steps in this exciting project are taken with the needs of our school communities at the forefront of decision making. We are therefore seeking feedback from current families, families interested in joining either school in the future, and wider stakeholders.
