At ODST we place children at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to develop and thrive intellectually, socially, culturally and spiritually, and we provide the school environments to support this.

Ambitious in progress and outcomes

We want every child to make a strong level of progress and fulfil their potential while at ODST schools and beyond. We identify the areas of focus across schools and place resources where needed to support achievement, for example: 

• building a cohort of experts in an area or subject, who plan and moderate together  
• delivering targeted CPD for teachers/leaders/support staff
• identifying best practice, where the best outcomes are and how best to share this

Broad and enriching curriculum

We aspire to provide children with rich learning and opportunities across the whole curriculum - the chance to enjoy, and excel in, arts, music, sports, technology and humanities as well as English, maths and science.
